We are woman's hand drum group from Massachusetts. We were founded in 2003 by Tanya Martinez with the intention of bringing women together with the hand drum. The songs and chants we sing include traditional and contemporary Mi'kMaq, Cherokee, Navajo, Abenaki and Delaware. We have written our own songs to add to our collection that are mostly in English and are continually adding songs in the different languages as they are shared with us so that we can share them with the communities we belong to and those we travel to. We have performed at pow wows throughout New England and in Canada, at ceremonies, and at many cultural events promoting Native American awareness.
Our Mission.........
Our mission is to keep the spirit and languages alive through our music and connection as women to each other and All Our Relations. We give thanks to Creator every day for this gift of song.
